Group leadership
Our senior executive team has exceptional experience in the development and management of corporate communications businesses. Their collective breadth of experience, gained over many years and across a range of peer group companies, has helped them to rapidly build College Group into one of the pre-eminent communications consultancies in the world.
The team has overseen a successful broadening out of the financial and corporate communications business of College Hill into a range of complementary skills and disciplines, as well as an international expansion programme that has seen the creation of a global network of owned-offices and partner consultancies.
Richard Nichols, College Group’s Chief Executive, joined in 2006. He has led the company’s on-going development and expansion - tripling in scale in the last three years - and has ambitious plans to continue to build services to clients organically as well as by investing in talent and complementary businesses.
Richard is also a non-executive director of Ebiquity Plc, an equity partner in Addictive Interactive and was previously a member of the Advisory board of ADV Group, the leading marketing communications group in Russia & the CIS.
Prior to joining College Hill, Richard was Chief Executive of Huntsworth plc, having been the architect of the 2005 merger with Incepta Group plc where he was Chief Executive and formerly Group Finance Director. Under his leadership, Incepta grew into one of the world’s largest communications and marketing agencies and entered the FTSE 250. Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London before spending two years in Corporate Finance at British Gas. He is a lifetime supporter of Newcastle United.
Adrian is Group Finance Director. Prior to joining, he was UK Finance Director at Burson-Marsteller, part of the WPP Group. He has also worked for Carlton Communications and business-to-business group United Business Media. Adrian is a Chartered Accountant and trained with BDO in London.
